Torfaen Dolphins Long Course

This year, our Torfaen Dolphins Long Course Meet is a sell out. This success means that spectator seats are limited and the club is required to limit ticket allocation to one per family/day. This ensures that the online ticket allocation match seat availability and the spectator area does not become overcrowded. To make allocation as fair as possible, the tickets were released in two phases and to all clubs (including Torfaen Dolphins) at the same time through your competition secretaries. Unfortunately, a number of families have tried to buy multiple tickets by using other family member’s Just Go membership. These have been identified by the club and have been withdrawn to one ticket per family per day, in the interest of fairness. All spectators will be given a wrist band, please do not try to enter without paying. This restriction is to ensure the comfort and safety of those competing and supporting the swimmers. We will have volunteers monitoring wrist bands and if you are not wearing the appropriate band you will be asked to leave.

If you are one of the families who purchased more than one ticket, you will be offered a refund. You will need to email your bank details, including name of account holder, sort code and account number, to [email protected]. The Long Course meet is run by volunteers and this additional workload will take time to process and will not be a priority until after the competition. Refunds may take up to one month or longer to process after that date.

This method of ticket allocation has worked well in the past and if all families follow the guidance it maximises the numbers of swimmers who are able to have a family member supporting them. In an ideal world, we would like to offer spectator tickets to all, but seat limitation prohibits this.
