Para swimming World Series – Sheffield

March 20th, 2023

The Para Swimming World Series was held in Ponds Forge, Sheffield and Torfaen Dolphins had two swimmers representing Great Britain at the event – Meghan Willis & Dylan Broom. The event was host to 34 nations and many of the world’s best were present at the meet. Despite a tricky build up, Meghan swam multiple events and had life time bests in many. Meghan continues to show improvement and is becoming a clear contender in her classification. Dylan also had a troubled build up returning to the pool just one week following a month out off the water. He managed to qualify for two World Series Finals and was close to his life time best in two events. Dylan and Meghan had supportĀ from Head Coach Tom Croke and S&C Coach Ray Morgan throughout the four days of the event.
