Tiger Bay Open Meet

When: March 30 2019 | Where: Cardiff International Pool - CF11 0JS

What you need to know

The Tiger Bay Open swimming Meet is a long course event that takes place on Saturday 30th – Sunday 31st March 2019 in Cardiff’s International Pool.  It is a lovely level 3 meet that would be suitable for Performance and Dev 1 and 2 swimmers. More confident Dev 3 swimmers should also be encouraged to give it a go.  If in doubt, please ask our Development Squad Lead Coach, Sarah.  Please also bear in mind when entering that it is a 50m pool, which is quite some distance without a turn and can be quite daunting for younger or inexperienced racers. Sarah would recommend the 50m distance for all strokes and hold off anything longer unless fully confident.  The butterfly especially in a 50m pool is quite tough! Again, please ask if unsure.

Some swimmers will have been sent the Bristol Henleaze Meet invitation as well (which is the weekend before) and this meet is an alternative, if for any reason you are unable to make the Bristol one.
