We are delighted to let you know that one of our swimmers – Dylan Broom in P1 has been selected for the World Class Podium Potential (WCPP) Programme. It’s our highest achievement as a club so far and we are so very proud of Dylan, Ian & the coaching team, as well as the club’s committee & members for their continued support.
Dylan was nominated by British Para-Swimming to UK Sport for inclusion on to the World Class Podium Potential Programme and their vision is ‘to consistently be the best performing para-swimming nation at the Paralympic Games.’
The WCPP programme’s purpose is to support athletes who want to deliver that vision and are inspired to deliver lifetime best performances under the greatest of pressure on the biggest stage. As a programme member Dylan will be eligible to access services and support to help him excel.
Their support represents an investment in Dylan’s future performances and a belief that membership of the World Class Podium Potential programme will make a tangible difference to his results.
A fantastic achievement, Dylan. Congratulations from everyone at TD!!
